Time for the DH.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I'd like to see a study of success rates at sac-bunting attempts. I'd be very surprised if the Mets weren't among the very worst.Speaking of execution failures, let's hope we don't regret the two times we failed to score a guy from 3rd with less than 2 out this afternoon.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 It's really disappointing that, with every fWAR stat out there, Sacrifice Bunt Success Percentage isn't commonly published.I'm guessing we'll see an Alex Torres debut today.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Ninety-one and likely done for Matt Harvey. Now, just keep this up. All year.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Can someone post that b&w clap thing for Harv? Thanks!

I took all my sign guy pics and put em in a new folder, and google pulled one of those "auto saves" and deposited this in my Picasa account. 3 different gifs, actually. Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Cheeeeze, look what Uggla found.I like what Grandy's doing at the top, but I still have a problem with how they are handling Lags. And Flores in the 9th slot, when they do that. At least put Lags there and give him the bullshit line that we are going with two lead off guys.

When/If Flores learns to hit, we can revisit moving him up.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Giving him the least AB on the team? nah.3 more outs to the first series win!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 If Familia screws this up I will explode.Lead off double for Wash.OHHHHHwhataplaybyWRIGHT. That's big.

That makes no sense to me.Harvey's a good hitter. Why wasn't he batting 8th today?6-3 Mets
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Reed Johnson can bite my bozack.

But Granderson has certainly contributed with his walks. To the extent that it can be argued he's not hitting, then neither is Lagares. .457 OPS vs. .334 for Lagares.
