Just my opinion here -- and I don't generally even look at how others are voting much less notice a trend -- but I did today and Tejada seems to me to be getting schorted his schare of Schaefer considering his 3 hit (2B + 2 1Bs) 2 RS performance (Monday night's 7-0 rout of SD) one that saw his as the first guy on base in every run scoring inning except for the one that produced the final run and only the K + K/CS sequence prevented him from scoring more after he got to 3rd w/none out.

On Sunday, Steven Matz became only the second Mets player to score a perfect 6.0 in Schaefer voting.* The only previous recorded instance was Jon Niese, on August 27, 2013.



*Detailed Schaefer information for 2005 has been lost. I'm pretty sure that Aaron Heilman scored a perfect 6 in April 2005, but I can't prove it.

And it happened! They may only have a day or two of first-place security, but it is what it is! When I typed that I really had no expectation that the Mets would be in first place upon my return.
