Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Ralph Kiner's Rancho Mirage home hits the market at $789,000.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 In addition to the Rancho Mirage property, a Palm Beach, Fla., residence formerly owned by Kiner and his fourth wife, Ann Benisch, currently lists for sale at $6.2 million. Sweet MoG, I never would have guess Ol' Ralphie was that wealthy!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 29, 2014 Author Posted December 29, 2014 I had assumed two or three wives. Not five. Not surprised by the wealth, though. Ballplayers of his age made not have made that much scratch, but they made their investments at the right time.A home in Florid bought decades ago = good investment.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I'd take that picture of Ralph interviewing Ol' Case off the estate's hands.BTW, is that an Oscar on that top shelf in the back?

It doesn't say how long he owned it. Edited December 29, 2014 by Guest

I had understood her to be the last Mrs. Kiner and incorrectly inferred that this one preceded her.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Ralph and Janet Leigh were an item at one time.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 29, 2014 Author Posted December 29, 2014 Oh, I know. I sing of it.[youtube:2j5ruv7i]TVrF8yUa9YI[/youtube:2j5ruv7i]
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Considering California real estate these days, $789,000 for that place isn't exactly overpriced. It'd be a hoot if some Met fan bought the place.
