In this case it's a day game followed by an off-day followed by night game - and on the west coast no less!!!!
That's like 51 hours from last pitch to next pitch!

I though that periods of more than 48 hours without a ballgame during the summer were prohibited by the constitution or
something, but it seems like we've had a bunch of these this year.

The Mets did us a favor and broke the unwritten rule that stretches like this have to be immediately preceded by a gut-wrenching late inning loss so you can stew on it and drive yourself crazy.

For these 51 hours I will be thinking about the Duda blast.

Maybe its makeup for having to play those Friday-Monday wraparound series. ( CBA small print?)
But, MLB will probably get back a them by having Angel Hernandez umpire the LA series.
