What part-- the grandstanding on-field work, or the country-music side gig?

His entire body of work.
;)

Wow, Bart got out of it. Nice.

I think the problem with Kevin is that he sounds like a kid sometimes.

I never thought of Gary for his voice. More for his fan view & knowledge. But he does have a great baseball voice.

I think the thing about Kevin is, he's too even-keel, especially at the top end of the excitement spectrum. He describes well, conveys information well... but emotes pretty poorly. He's like the Anti-Gus-Johnson.

EVERYONE's trying to give this game away. It's just that the Giants are the only ones polite enough to accept.

Side note: I think Kevin would be better off trying the Harry Kalas route, and going laconic. He just doesn't do "excited" well, vocally.

That could be it. In any case, there's a thing about Kevin.

Hey Posey! Maybe we should change the rules so you get four strikes! Ha!

On the positive side, both Raphael Soriano and Craig Kimbrel have blown 9th inning saves tonight.
Nats @ Padres are in the 10th inning tied at 2; Snakes still batting in the 9th vs Kimbrel's Braves.

West takes, West gives. West is capricious and capacious; he blows hot and cold. West is El Nino.

Jeurys, on the other hand, is El Hombre.

I wonder what the Wilpons think when Keith starts going on and on about how great it is to have a stadium without all the loud, piped-in music and scoreboard directed cheers?
It won't change anything, but I hope he keeps harping on it.

Oh, I think it matters. The team looks for feedback on this sort of thing all the time.

I'm tempted to ask if that was your final answer, but it would be hypocritical of me.

No sir. That would be comedic.

As was that. WTF happened there?
