Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 After yesterdays sac fly don't we give Grandy a BOOO free game here? Oy, fans today.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Effectiveness against Metly bats aside, I like that he's in our league now, because that means I get to see Pat Neshek do his thing a little more often. He's fun to look'it.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Hard to do when you're pitching and playing the field, but yes. After getting a hanger tattooed by Allen Craig, Quotidian Carlos (10th appearance in 19 games) bounced back nicely against Holliday there. If he can negotiate lumberjack-y Matt Adams, we're into Farnsworth territory.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Yesterday MLB.TV was getting to me faster than WPIX, maybe by 30 seconds. Tonight WPIX is at least a minute, more like 2, ahead of MLB.TV.That's wacky stuff.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 And of course The Consistently Competent Mets Reliever does the damn thing. Onward to Farnsworthia.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 In Atlanta tonight, Freddie Freeman just popped out with the bases loaded and one out in the 7th inning of a one run game.I didn't think he even had that move in his repertoire.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Browntown.Farnsworth's location looks fairly solid tonight, actually. (Molina's single came on a pretty good pitch.)
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) Sweet Irish hands on the DP turn there. Who are these middle infielders we're running out there tonight, and can we keep them? Edited April 21, 2014 by Guest

The 29-year-old has gone 5 for 27 (.185) with one homer in 10 games this season.Yea, Brown needs at bats.2 out. Fast game.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Farnsworth looked completely normal wearing the camo. Pretty much everyone else looked awful.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Yeah, he was probably wearing camo under his jersey too. There was a bit story today that he was shaking out his arm in obvious discomfort in the tunnel shot after the game. Anybody catch that?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I saw Roobie tweeting about it.All the stars are aligned for the Dice-Kloser vision.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 yes, by all means, lets cycle through retreads while we're up to our armpits in talented minor league arms. After all, its not as if using young starters out of the pen ever works, either in bolstering the pen or in developing the arms as eventual major league pitchers. Surely no lesson can be drawn in this regard from our current opponents in St.L, who've seemed to have done this expertly.
