I'll check who among the above have more or less fallen away.

Meanwhile, name the only 20-game winner in Expo history.

Rogers? Probably not, since it probably wouldn't be very trivia-ish if it were.

I'll revise: Bryn Smith.

Not Bryn Smith.

Gyd giss, though. Bryn rocked an 18-5 season in 1985. Never topped 12 in any other season.

The other Martinez? Dennis?

No multiple guess dumps!!

Randy Johnson was mostly pretty bad as an Expo, going 3-4 and walking a terrifying 5.3 men per nine innings. He was a rare talent in that he turned the corner at pretty much the exact point he threw a no-hitter for the Mariners. Never has a light so definitively gone on. He was pretty bad, he threw a no-hitter, and then he was great for 15 years.

Pedro, on the other hand, had his first great season with Montreal, but they weren't such a great team. He went 17-8 in 1997, won the Cy Young Award, and got traded to Boston for Carl Pavano and Tony Armas, Jr.

El Presidente, on the other hand, played for the Expos back when there was no shame in coming there after starring elsewhere --- in Baltimore, in his case. He produced double-digit win totals seven straight times for the Quebeois, peaking at 16-7 in 1989. He also helped future Met Tim Burke bond with the son Burke adopted from Martnez' native Nicaragua.

Dan Schatzeder, why the hell not.

Well, because he stated less than a third of his appearances as an Expo. Hard to win 20 that way. His top win season in the big O was during the first of his two tenures, going 10-5 (in 21 starts) in 1979 with a 2.83 ERA. That was good enough to get him traded to Detroit (straight up for Ron LeFlore!), but he floundered in the AL and was mostly a reliever by the time he returned to Canada in 1982.

And yes, I had forgotten Schatzeder ever played for the Mets.

Going from Grimmy's clue... Walter Johnson? Hal Chase? Dan Schatzeder's neighbor, the corrections officer with the lovely tomato garden?

Or Steve Renko, mebbe?

Charlie Lea was a good pitcher. Plus it was cool that a team could relieve Lea with Lee. He went 16-11/3.12 in 1983 and then was the All-Star starter, going 13-4 by mid-season in 1984, but injuries and lack of offensive support undermined his second half. He finished at 15-10, missed the next two seasons, and was never good again.

Schatzeder was a good guess, temporarily. Definitely from the era of their superstar outfield.

OE: Homerun by batmagadanleadoff! Look at that fucking hair. If that guy doesn't drive a primer-painted pickup truck without his shirt on around Babylon and surf at Jones Beach, I don't know what. That motherfucker isn't just a 20-game winner. He's your go-to source for WBAB bumper stickers.

I played '78 Strat O Matic and I can tell you that nobody drafted Grimsley in our NL all star league. He wasn't better than his teammate Steve Rogers that season, and definitely wasn't as good as nine game winner and ERA champ Craig Swan.

Javier Vazquez officially retired this season when he went to work this season an international special assistant to Major League Baseball Players Association executive director Tony Clark. Can't yet find a statement of surrender from Miguel Batista. Wouldn't be surprised to find him in the Venezuelan winter league this year pitching himself into shape.

This is going to come down to Bartolo vs. Endy, I think.
