Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Returns to the organization as Savannah Sand Gnats hitting coach. Dude sure knew how to pack a house: Are these Metfairy shots?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 The top one is a crop of one of my shots that got picked up by Wikipedia.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I do get credited for the photos by my Flickr handle; I'm cool with that.I'm pretty sure I was sitting a few rows behind the visiting dugout. It was a day game in September. As has been observed, plenty of good seats were still available.

Are you permitted to bring in a zoom lens with that kind of zoom/focus?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 Robin Harris had this great routine about nod being a big enough celebrity to land Lakers tickets, so he became a fan of the Clippers, and they let him sit on the team bench. Eventually they said "what the hell?" and put him in a game. Next September, go for the bench.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I got this from the outfield during the All Star Game (I know the subject matter is icky) -The Mets have been making noise about banning professional equipment without really defining what professional equipment is (I have good equipment, although not professional grade). So far I haven't had an issue, but a friend of mine has had issues bringing in gear to the Citi. I have a point and shoot with a good zoom if it becomes an issue for me (although honestly, if they start harassing me about taking pictures then I'll be less likely to go to as many games in the future).
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Good old Val. He hit his (Met) dinger, and he hung 'em up.

Guest cooby Guests Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Don't remember Val! Pascucci! at all but the pix are nice. Were you in Florida Metfairy?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 No - Citi Field for a day game in September 2011.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Yes, but plenty of good seats were still available.
