Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Phillie scores first on a sac fly to Laggy.Guy looked out to me, but the ump had lousy position under any circumstances.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Replays remove all ambiguity. d'Arnaud tagged the guy.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I like the DP when the first baseman goes to first and then throws out the runner for the tag.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I hope this Wright guy gets a good look next spring.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Hey, radio booth. The Chooch thing is a term of endearment for the home fans.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Well, there are two ready-for-prime-timers in this lineup, anyhow.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 This forum suxx. Two kabooms un-illustrated.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Lagares got a triboomm that coulda been an itp-er if he hadn't slud by the time the relay was bobbled.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 d'Arnaud hitting.den Dekker not.Mets up 5-1. And the one was boochit.Dramatic rain coming down.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Love the little green and black guy ... I can do his voice so well it would scare youse.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Make a soundbite and upload it.It's just so meaningful to not be alone in the thread anymore. Stupid Twitter.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2013 Author Posted September 21, 2013 Out all day..[bigpurple:gfcywsa7]KABOOM![/bigpurple:gfcywsa7][bigpurple:gfcywsa7]KABOOM![/bigpurple:gfcywsa7]
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Phillies looking to come back by hitting backie-to-backie doubles to open the home sixth.Mets up by three. Rain letting up some.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Another dubble, but Rollins doesn't score.Quit polishing that hook and put it to use.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Groundout to Wright gets one run in and the other over from second to third. No like this inning. Brown the tying run at the plate with a lot of kabooms on his record.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 And a wild pitch scores the run.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Very odd how Utley ran into the infield before making a dash for the plate.Pop to shallow right gets the second out.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 And the umps whistle the game.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Nice, collegial half-hour or so on the radio tonight during the rain delay before 'FAN went to Shitty Non-Somers Studio Show, in which Gary Cohen dropped by, everyone reminisced about where they each were during the '73 stretch run, and Gary was forced to sing the Fordham alma mater, as part of a standing bet re: the Columbia-Fordham foo'ball game today.

How on earth could the ump even imagine the guy was safe? Ooo, I did miss some kabooms didn't I. And the one from Murph, a big one. I think now that the games over I can watch it with Gary and crew. I'm sick of those Phillies guys. If a Philly hits a homer they scream like girls and when a Met hits one, they don't even raise their voice. I mean, it's happening, announce it with a lil bit of importance. lil bit? And the end of the low sentence describing the ball that leaves the park is laced with so much disgust. I can't stomach those guys any more. They used to be good.

It's a mystery how he's been there so long, because nobody in Philadelphia can stand the guy.
