Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 It's that famous Met flash in the pan, Boris DeSpider.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 Who is this former Met who never appeared in a game for the A's and was never given a Topps card as a member of the A's either.Quiz Diffuculty Rating: Easier than Boris DeSpider.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Though I'm not sure why Joe Grzenda would be posing with a bat...
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 I think it's one of the Bob Johnsons. (I've recently posted some missing mug shots from the early days to the UMDB.)

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 Like his Mets teammate Tom Seaver, he also posed with a bat for The Man From Topps.
