Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 It's a 3-2 game. It feels like they should be up by seven.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Harper can't get it by the Great Wall of DooDoo.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I like that Dick's ad about all the things that go on between pitches, but the pitcher looks like Calvin Schiraldi.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Wow, the Mets are living on the warning track but not scoring accordingly.Come ons, Young.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Nice double by Hawkman!

Course it is. Its the Mets and they have a day game in Atlanta tomorrow. So of course this game is going to go extra innings. Right?metsguyinmichigan wrote:I like that Dick's ad about all the things that go on between pitches, but the pitcher looks like Calvin Schiraldi.Yo, that commercial is awesome. Excellent portrayal of baseball on a screen.Niese gets a double! Look under your seats.YOU GET A DOUBLE! YOU GET A DOUBLE! EVERYBODY GETS A DOUBLE!
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Murph gets that run right back!

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Hey, sometimes bunting helps! Muffie with the RBI knock after the EY sacrifice. These dingbats at ESPN, incidentally, mention the RBI in passing, too busy telling their own dumb ass stories to call the game.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Murphy vs Washington this season: .383/.413/.567 -- and that was before tonight where he's tacked on a single, double, and was robbed of a double.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Coming around to the notion that Niesey doesn't have much more than Ohlendorf tonight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 No problems, we've got a man there.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Did anyone see the homer in the Skank game where the ball rode along the top of the wall? I've seen balls bounce off the top of the wall and go out (or come back in) but never ever saw a ball bounce for about 20 feet on the very top of the wall as it deflected off a glove and fans and stuff. Pretty amazin'.

Pretty amazin'.I just liked the fact that the Yanx got burned by a 321 ft HR for a change. The one Adam Jones hit four batters later wasn't a cheapie though.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Oh great. Is Niese hurt now? Eycurumba.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Oh hell, what was that with Niese's calf?
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 What happened to Nieae?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Fingers crossed, it looked like it could have been a cramp.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Young's making a case to come back next year.

But we'll see.I have to assume about a week ago Young was told not only that he has a 24/7 green light, but that he should most definitely steal second any and every chance he has.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Left calf cramp say the radio guys.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 What the heck, Acthison? Stop bouncing them! And it comes back to bite him in the ass.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Damn ... 2-outs and 0-2 and then single, WP, WP, Single nets them a run they shouldn't have had.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 And too much discussion about Yadier Molina. Neck tats should automatically make someone ineligible for the MVP.
