Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 That's, what, five RBIs following IWs for Flores? Not bad for your first week in the bigs. That'll teach 'em to walk Ike.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Man alive, what a Parragrab. These Snake outfielders do go out and get it.

I don't want to see a tag from 1st in those circumstances.Meanwhile, the DBacks have been throwing some nice leather at us so far this weekend.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 I'm sorry, but is Wilmer Flores really so questionable at third that he gets pulled for late inning defense and replaced by Turner?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Fkn Prado. Man, those insurance runs are big.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Jewelry and big chains while playing sports ... I don't get it.I was hoping Prado's bat got caught up in his.

Unless a double-switch is going to get you an extra inning out of your pitcher it's usually not worth doing. In this case the pitcher's slot is due up in top 9, but he's almost certain to be switching pitchers anyway so the switcheroo doesn't really buy you anything and it burns a player who may be needed later on.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 Nieves --- no power catcher. At least, not much to date.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 You don't have to throw Nieves a strike to get him out.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 Got to go to Pedro here, right?

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Conversely, throwing him a strike doesn't always get Nieves out, it seems.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) That was some bad breaking. Edited August 10, 2013 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 That's what low-70s cheese looks like, Mr. Parra.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Way to GO Ped-ROI'm not sure if that last pitch could have earned itself a speeding ticket.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 In game quiz --- Who is the only other player this season besides our Mr. Flowers to have two 3-RBI games in his first five ML games?
