Good point. Jim Bunning, then of the Tigers, was the only AL pitcher with over 200 K's (201). Not a lot of heat in the AL kitchen that year. Early Wynn was third in strikeouts and he was Fox's teammate, thus didn't knock him down as if he were his own mother.
