Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I'm not sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say it probably started sometime around the time virtually every elementary-school grade started getting a "graduation" ceremony.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Whoa, Duda with the fine pick of Murphys short throw. That was big.Gee gets thru 8, but he did walk his first batter there. Great job by Gee.Earlier Gary said that Duda has yet to ground into a double play this season. That's crazy talk!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 It would be nice. So its gonna be Gee til he hits a bump? I'm usually okay with this, I endorse it most times, but tonight I'm thinkin Parnell by a whisker.

That's crazy talk! It's not so much the speed or the flyball tendencies, as it is the fact that most middle infielders are terrified that Boo's going to burn down their garage, or murder a pet of theirs.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Oh, Uggla only sucks with the glove. He don't love the glove.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Sheesh, Simmons can play some shortstop.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Gee has simply stunned me. I'd have bet he was done as recently as 3 weeks ago.Geez, here's Freeman. Gulp.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 A man reaching first in a one run game is a bump to me. And this is a save situation. But Ill still root for Gee to shut the door.Freeman *teeth start chattering

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I'm not gonna be mad at Gee. Nor Terry. If Gee wanted the opportunity for his first complete game, he deserved to get it.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I blacked out in inning three or four.I'm the worst.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 fuck that shit, the job of the manager is to make hard decisions and to not be afraid of upsetting players for the greater As soon as someone got on Gee should have been pulled, either for Scott Rice (who's held LEFTIES to .477 OPS) or Parnell. All Gee's splits tell you that it was red alert time, above 76 pitches - .897 ops againstleft handed hitters - .783 ops againstJESUS FUCKING WEPT MAKE THE MOVE>

Of course, Parnell does not give up home runs.
