Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Fuck you Pierre. lil shit.Bunt single by Pierre and a real single to right by Lucas greet Harvey in the first.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Not sure if he would have gotten to it but it looks like Ankiel misplayed a deep fly over his head into a triple.0-2
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 An infield-in pop up falls in at deep short as Mr Q could not catch up to it.0-3.Hope the Mets brought their bats.Did I hear right? Gary said the Marlins have a total of 15 wins this season, and 5 of em vs. the Mets...
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Well, that was simply put, a shitty first.Score runs Mets. SCORE RUNS!!!

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Harvey is not being the "stopper" I envisioned. Plenty of game left tho, and you couldn't tell Matt was not pitching like Matt by looking at him. He's one cool dude.1-4 Fishies
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 They were giving you first Davey. Tsk,tsk.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 This is an example of how fans can get fooled by small sample sizes.I'm convinced at this point that the Marlins are the best team in the majors. They may lack power but they hit line-drives, work the count and/or foul off pitches they can't hit, run well, field well, have enough depth to overcome injuries, and have a great, young pitching staff.I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 90+ games this year.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 If Harvey settles down, and it looks like he is, we got game.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Now, on a bad day, that's what Seaver would do. Reach back- get that big out. And I think that's the first time Ive allowed myself to compare Harvey to Seaver.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Omar is really unflappable, though, huh?
