Stupid porch-exploitin' porch exploiters.

That stays in 29 parks, I think. Maybe it gets out of Baltimore, too. Maybe.

It bounces twice and rolls to the wall in San Diego.

Lagares looked good playing in on Gardner then getting quickly to snag the liner hit over his head.

Gee being both good and efficient, trying to give a big Fuck You to those who voted against him in our poll here (and don't think he doesn't know about it)

Nothing personal with the poll Mr Gee. If you're a five inning pitcher we can use you better in the pen. Don't be a five inning pitcher. Quick, read that before you have to take the mound again.

Good stuff so far, enjoying the quiet crowds. Due to the WPIX-iness of tonight's broadcast I am forced to follow along via the YES network.

Go to MLBN and watch Costas & Kaat instead.

So which is more unusual tonight?
- Six stellar innings from Gee
OR
- Six complete innings of a Yanqui game in under 1 hour 40 minutes

It would be ironic if this game ended 2-1 and nothing exciting happened between now and then.

To continue my theme from last night's IGT: we now interrupt this well-played and crisply flowing game for an unnecessary six minute break.

And do the networks have it written into their contracts that they have to show this dog and pony show? If not and I were them I'd just dump out of it and run extra commercials.

This performance by Mr Gee. Jeeze, what do you say? 11Ks, 83 pitches after 7 inn.

Re the booth:Throw him out there and let him pitch until he hits a bump. And in 90% of the situations, that to me is if a guy reaches first in a one run game.

Another run would be freakin huge. I'm feeling a lil nervous for the first time this whole series.

Buckwad 3-7 lifetime against Chamberlain with a homerun. I'll take my chances maybe. But I'm cool either way.

Joba vs. Buk. Swap in Baxter or Ankiel?

That hit by Buck was positively Jeterian.

Aw Duds. U were big there.
Adams would have had to make a hell of a play.

Tough to swap in for Buck as he's the backup catcher tonight.
Terry already slightly tempting fate by putting both catchers in the starting line-up
