Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 I guess its time for me to step up and take my loses. And wins. This one's gonna be a win.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 I'll be at the game.It seems like I'm at all of Niese's games....

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Mike Leake can be hit.I am very interested in who get penciled in a 1B...Justin Turner?

Enjoy, it's gonna be a win.Duda will double, twice.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Ceetar - I have a Citi Visa card. How do I get this free beer?

How do I get this free beer? There's a tent in the center field area, right by the ASG sign. show them the card and your license, get a $10 gift card which is acceptable everywhere except I think Pat LaFriedas? (maybe not the Shake Shack stuff? maybe it's only the 'main' aramark/mets stuff.)

Being that pitchers who don't hit get all kinds of hits vs. us, I figure Leake will have a good game at the plate. On the mound though, he will suffer the fate that all opposing pitchers face in IGTs started by me.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Leake is a real good athlete, looks like one anyway. I can't believe he's a major league player, stealing undershirts from a Macy's though. What kind of fucked up person does something like that?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Really? He stole undershirts from Macy's?A guy who earns his salary should steal his undershirts from Bloomingdales or Lord & Taylor.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I read up on this. He said he was trying to exchange the items he'd previously bought himself, by replacing his paid-for items on the display and taking price tags off the new stuff. So they only got him to plead guilty to stupidity.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I'd say that exchanging merchandise without bothering to run it through a salesperson... is really kinda more embarrassing than "I have psychological issues that I need to get under control."
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Reds lineup, from Rubin:Derrick Robinson, cfZack Cozart, ssJoey Votto, 1bBrandon Phillips, 2bJay Bruce, rfTodd Frazier, 3bDonald Lutz, lfDevin Mesoraco, cMike Leake, rhp Aren't Lutz and Mesoraco the lawyers you need if you or someone you know has been diagnosed with mesothelioma?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Niese gets the first two pinkos and then walks 2 with a single sandwiched in there. Bases all red, 2 out.And a hard hit grounder goes right through Wrights legs. Unreal. BOOOOOO David! That coulda, shoulda, woulda been the inning.2-0 and we have not even batted yet.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Niese has thrown 42 pitches and the first is not over yet.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Niese walks in a run. I'm steppin off. I think I have some hard liquor somewhere. Shots on me.That was an interesting last out.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 With two outs and with Ike coming up, Teufel probably should have sent Duda although I'm not so sure he would have been safe.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 With two outs and with Ike coming up, Teufel probably should have sent Buck as well.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Niese has done a fine job righting himself, but I'm not too sure I let him hit there.I'm certain I don't let him go up there first-pitch swinging.

I'm amazed that Niese has lasted this long. I wrote him off in the 1st.

Still struggled with his command some but hopefully he's righting himself overall.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Ike hearing some vicious boooooos.Still 3-0 Cin after 7. Mets have a total of 3 hits

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 That was Mesoracos second homer of the season. Too bad there's so many more little guys than big guys. The little guys are killin us.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 I really wish the Mets didn't have that kinda semi-nice start to the season. I don't think I'd feel as down about em as I do now if they just plain sucked since day one.Mets lose again. 0 runs. 3 hits.
