I guess its time for me to step up and take my loses. And wins. This one's gonna be a win.

I'll be at the game.

It seems like I'm at all of Niese's games....

Seems like I go to all Citi Tuesday games (hey, free $10 for having a Citi credit card pays for a beer!) but I'm so worn out I barely have the energy to get home after work tonight.

Enjoy, it's gonna be a win.

Duda will double, twice.

Ceetar - I have a Citi Visa card. How do I get this free beer?

There's a tent in the center field area, right by the ASG sign. show them the card and your license, get a $10 gift card which is acceptable everywhere except I think Pat LaFriedas? (maybe not the Shake Shack stuff? maybe it's only the 'main' aramark/mets stuff.)

well...it's in Citi Field, so Niese has a chance...At home, he's merely bad instead of being horrible on the road...When did Niese turn into Pelfrey in terms of K:BB ratio?

At home, his control is merely bad:
14 strikeouts to 11 walks & no wild pitches;
He's allowed an OBP of .360; OPS of .810;

On the road, he's got more walks and wild pitches than strikeouts:
13 walks & 4 wild pitches with only 10 strikeouts;
He's allowed an OBP of .390; OPS of .830;

However...If he allows an OPS of .810 with our offense averaging an OPS of .657 at home; then the odds are against a good outcome...

Mike Leake can be hit.

He can also hit. Being that pitchers who don't hit get all kinds of hits vs. us, I figure Leake will have a good game at the plate. On the mound though, he will suffer the fate that all opposing pitchers face in IGTs started by me.

Leake is a real good athlete, looks like one anyway.

I can't believe he's a major league player, stealing undershirts from a Macy's though. What kind of fucked up person does something like that?

he probably thought that his shoplifting wouldn't get Leake'd to the press...

I read up on this. He said he was trying to exchange the items he'd previously bought himself, by replacing his paid-for items on the display and taking price tags off the new stuff.

So they only got him to plead guilty to stupidity.

I'd say that exchanging merchandise without bothering to run it through a salesperson... is really kinda more embarrassing than "I have psychological issues that I need to get under control."

Reds lineup, from Rubin:

Derrick Robinson, cf
Zack Cozart, ss
Joey Votto, 1b
Brandon Phillips, 2b
Jay Bruce, rf
Todd Frazier, 3b
Donald Lutz, lf
Devin Mesoraco, c
Mike Leake, rhp

Aren't Lutz and Mesoraco the lawyers you need if you or someone you know has been diagnosed with mesothelioma?

Niese gets the first two pinkos and then walks 2 with a single sandwiched in there. Bases all red, 2 out.

And a hard hit grounder goes right through Wrights legs. Unreal. BOOOOOO David! That coulda, shoulda, woulda been the inning.
2-0 and we have not even batted yet.

Niese walks in a run. I'm steppin off. I think I have some hard liquor somewhere. Shots on me.

That was an interesting last out.

With two outs and with Ike coming up, Teufel probably should have sent Duda although I'm not so sure he would have been safe.

With two outs and with Ike coming up, Teufel probably should have sent Buck as well.

Niese has done a fine job righting himself, but I'm not too sure I let him hit there.

I'm certain I don't let him go up there first-pitch swinging.

Oh yea, there's a game on. I'm amazed that Niese has lasted this long. I wrote him off in the 1st.

some nice Ks at least. that was troubling early in the season. Still struggled with his command some but hopefully he's righting himself overall.

Ike hearing some vicious boooooos.

Still 3-0 Cin after 7. Mets have a total of 3 hits

Collin gives up a kaboom to Meserwacko and then, read his lips: "Oh my God. Fuck me!"

That was Mesoracos second homer of the season. Too bad there's so many more little guys than big guys. The little guys are killin us.

I really wish the Mets didn't have that kinda semi-nice start to the season. I don't think I'd feel as down about em as I do now if they just plain sucked since day one.

Mets lose again. 0 runs. 3 hits.
