Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 Threw one of these up on FB because someone has to teach those young whippersnappers Met history (a lot of people knew who Karl was tho, of course). Our owners don't give a shit so we have to take it to the streets.Someone recently mentioned my name and Karls in the same sentence. Lemme tell you, I was honored. I aspire to be a great fan like him, as should we all.Never forget Karl! Pass these around if you wish.
dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 It's always intrigued me that there was another New York Mets. Or maybe it was the same Mets, returning after seventy-five years in the wilderness. Forget those West Coast emigres, or those upstart Baltimoreans in the Bronx; this is the real New York baseball club. Were there any of their old fans at the Polo Grounds in 1962? I'm sure there were, just as I'm sure there are Mets fans today who remember Bill Terry and Burleigh Grimes.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Wow.Excellent DJ as usualFoster reminds me of Chicagos pretty man.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) I'm working on this one. I need pictures of Harveys follow through from that view to complete the progression. I've really searched the web for images. Eventually I'll get pics of the tail end of his windup. Using the new CorelDraw6 for much of this project. I'm likin it.OE: Pulling this- I found some images to add. Edited June 23, 2013 by Guest

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Pssst! Aardsma is right handed!

I never noticed. And I gave that a lot of thought too, the details. I was going to use a '67 border and then I thought Ben will never stand for that cause Topps didn't use action shots then. So my best efforts are.....okay, gimme a min.....corrected. I hope the circle part is still blue.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 DOH! That'll have to be an error card. DAMN! I already have that Parnell.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 I wanted to put this at the start of todays IGT but it has yet to exist. So I'll dump it here. Its just past midnight. Its Harvey Day and I start rooting now.LGM!
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Is that Zach Wheeler as Robin? Even in the Mattmobile he's tipping his pitches.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 Course thats Zack. He might be one of those Robins that dies an early death.I got a kick out of this:And one for Edgy and you other Ramone fans:
