Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Hefner vs Feldman. Let's keep the dream alive.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 3 well pitched games in a row, and Muffy is determined to extract all his mates out of a slump with him. I like our chances vs. this Feldman felow.

That's not the name of a guy who'll pitch you a great ballgame, that's the name of the guy who does your taxes. You can't say; "oooh chuck it in there now, Feldman; give him the high hard one, Feldman. It just doesn't fit"
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Feldman had 17 wins with Texas in 2009. Beyond that he has 48 career wins in this his 9th MLB season and a lifetime 4.69 era...
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Gary notes that the Mets are 0-8 in the game after Harvey starts this season. That ends TODAY.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Ike strands yet another runner in scoring position with a fly too short to score Murphy, and Duda ends the inning with a fly out to the wall. That must be the tenth time this season where reversing the second and third outs in an inning would have produced a run (and yes, I know you can't anticipate that sort of thing, but it seems to happen a lot).
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 What's Castro's favorite pizza? TWO BOOTS! Wocka wocka!!!Not that the Mets take advantage.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 The first time I ever cut school was to see that Met/Cub (clincher) game in '73. Walked right past my school and headed to Macys on Queens Blvd., where I watched the game in the TV dept on a color TV ( had a B&W TV at the time). The TV salesman, who I truthfully told why I was there, hung out and watched the game with me. Great times.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 DAMN! Messy run down. You see Muffy? That was funny but I won't laugh (he did like a cartoon double take). Good try by all, just minus the "out".
Guest vtmet Guests Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I guess Terry sticking with the same lineup 3 days in a row (even with 2 victories in a row) was just a little too much to ask for...he probably even changes the way that he makes coffee every other day, just for the hell of it...

Muffy is hotter than July. Another hit.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Danny boy is hot, but not fast. Keith cracks me up sometimes.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Ramjet
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Ugh, I stepped off with bases loaded and no out. Thought maybe if I wasn't watching they would get out of it. I'll try anything. Looks like they didn't.Hef was doing fine, but he has lost it this inning.4-0 lilbears
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Holy shit. Carson, 7 HRs allowed in 9 innings. Yikerama.5-0
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Ike may need more than a wake up call. He may need a tow truck to pull his head out of his ass.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Seven homers in nine innings for Carson. That's just a terrible score, Edward.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 That's a wasted at bat Justin. Which I suppose isn't as bad as wasting an afternoon watching this game.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Wow. What a great DP started with the diving catch by Tejeda. Didn't think Muff would be able to get that second out. Very nice.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Wow. Double play of the year. Tejada dives to his right and makes a perfect feed, Murph hangs in with the runner on top of him and delivers a strike to Ike.
