That was yesterday, maybe or maybe not before Christian had learned that he was being suspended 50 games for violating the minor league substance policy a second time.

Nineteen-year-old Monty had been 0-1 with a 9.39 ERA in a mere two games last year, and that's the sum total of his career, so I'd say things are in the dangerous area, as a 1:1 ratio of games to drug violations ain't gonna cut it.

Yes. Isn't a PED suspension 100 games for a second offense? If it was 50 for a second offense it would have been a "drug of abuse."
