Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Two walks to batters he had no business walking, and a hanger with two strikes? Now, THERE's the Brandon Lyon I remember from waybackwhen.

Does anyone remember this? It was freakin hilarious. I only remember the last line and how much it cracked me up.Sure, he used injuries to curry favor with women. If he saw a girl he liked, he'd lean into a pitch and win her sympathy. One time, he wasn't in the game, and wanted to make an impression so he fell down the dugout steps.And... AJ Ellis puts a cherry on it.

AJ Ellis puts a cherry on it.He and Danson (I think) were talking about how Coach was known for being hit by pitches. I don't know if they were talking about a record, like 'in a game' or a season, but there was something about his last at bat. Don't remember exactly what was said but Ted says something to the effect the last pitch wasn't easy to get hit by, and Coach said, "Yea, I had to dive for that one."

Too many walks, too little execution.I don't think Josh Edgy has got the LH hitting guy he was meant to get out all year.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 This was one shitty game. BOOOOOOO!
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 The 2 big moments in this one were when Kershaw froze Buck, and when Lyon walked Uribe.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 You have to work to walk Juan Uribe.
