Taylor Spink Award in 2010 -- and award-winning Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy also will be honored.Induction ceremonies are May 7 at Foley's NY Pub & Restaurant in New York.Staub, a six-time All-Star in his 23-year career, played for the Mets, Astros, Expos, Tigers and Rangers. The power-hitting first baseman and outfielder received Most Valuable Player Award votes in seven seasons, with his best ballot appearance being a fifth-place finish with the Tigers in 1978.McEwing, currently the White Sox third-base coach, played nine years in the Majors, five of which came with the Mets from 2000-2004. He was a .251 career hitter and also played with the Cardinals, Royals and Astros.
