MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 How about a modified DH rule?Eliminate catchers from the Braves' batting order.Later
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 The Mets would have won this game if not for that Medlen kid.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 What anyone who wasn't watching missed:- Mejia still needs some work. He's erratic and doesn't seem to miss enough bats. The Braves fouled balls off until they got a good one and then they smacked it.- Thole got smoked in the head by a foul ball sitting in the dugout. Seemed to be OK- The few balls we did hit hard off of Medlen were at'em balls. He didn't totally dominate like it looked like the hitters had no chance, but he was still good.- Chipper's father looks ridiculously like Chipper. Or, I guess, the other way around is more accurate, hence the name Chipper.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Who said the Mets weren't record-setting?Well, at least participating in a record.http://sports.yahoo.com/news/braves-history-medlen-beats-mets-204245573--mlb.htmlLater
