I'm a little curious when Operation Torres Restoration goes into effect. Until he bats leadoff again, it's this thing I keep waiting to happen. It's driving me mad.

I don't like Torres 6th any better than 1st that's for sure.

To be fair, it wasn't a long drive.

I think Collins is liking him down further as a break up the lefties guy.

I see what Terry is trying to do... with four of the starting eight batting left-handed, he doesn't want to cluster them too much in the middle of the lineup. Edgy's lineup accomplishes the same thing, but I think, in a better way.

EDIT: Ceetar said pretty much the same thing I did, but two minutes sooner.

Ike needs to hit a few shots off or over the fence before he earns his way back up to 6th is what this really is about. But still. It drove me nuts these last few nights to see Torres getting up there in the middle of everything.

Yabbut, you honored my attempt to do better and Ceetar zinged me for the effort. DAMN YOU, CEETAR!

me? I'm already nuts. I'm the 4sq mayor of the place.

I think I like your lineup better. Torres up front. I don't like Hairston cleanup though he has hit sorta well lately.

Duda not in game after all. Neiuwy in left.

Schwinden walks shitty leadoff hitter, who steals on next pitch.

given the lineup is the 'same' I wonder if Duda was technically replaced after the lineup cards exchanged?

Duda is available as a PH.

Schwinny escapes the 1st scoreless.

Gameday giving me a boxscore that doesn't include Duda, so I'm guessing he's still available.

The MLB.com box score shows Duda available on the bench, but the box score on Yahoo.com (which I trust a bit less) shows Nieuwenhuis as a sub for Duda.

the lineup card in the dugout shows Duda available in the lh batter column.
