G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 National League expansion teams in their twentieth years beware -- we bring our rampage to the Rockies!
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Ugh, the 8:40 first pitch makes it unlikely that I will still be awake when the game ends. Staying up that late is for crazy teenagers and what not, I like to drink my postum and go to bed to the soothing broadcasts of Mr. Paul Harvey. If someone can stay up and tell me who was on the Jack Paar show I would appreciate it.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Oh no I just shat in my old guy diapers. Nurse?!? OH NURSE??
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Watch it on DVR-delay on Saturday morning! I used to do that all the time and it's a nice way to start the day. And you get to skip the commercials.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 He needs the commercials to change his diaper.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Yeah, I hear you. That's why I don't do that too often anymore. My Saturday mornings have gotten busier too.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Zach Lutz, who is starting at first base for the Mets tonight, found out he was going to the majors while at a funeral. -- Anthony Rieber (@therealarieber)
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Props to Wright in the top half there, staying in the rundown long enough for Newey to score from 3rd. Rockies D' continues to not impress. In other news, Schwinden leads off by giving up a 3B.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Two triples and a HR. I dont wanna say I told ya so...
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Hey, Chris, I don't know if you've been watching, but Mets starting pitchers are supposed to be good this year. So try to, you know, suck less. Kthanxbye.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 These trips to Colorocky usually end in disaster.Back to the draft.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Scott Hairston, way to get hit by the ball dingus.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 The way Levin says "Schwinden" is kind of like it's a shwanky nickname for a guy named "Linden."Wow, a bunt play didn't work!
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Is anyone else distracted by this twitching thing Schwinny does with the ball in his mitt, before he delivers the pitch? It looks like he's fingerbanging his glove.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Fuck yeah! Nice 3B there by Hairston.Fowler tried to bring it in but he's no Nieweuneiheisss out there.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Thirsty-man Hairston's making up for the earlier field-farting, isn't he?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Duda! Pile it on, boys. It's the soft underbelly of the Rockies bullpen.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 And Zach gets his first major league hit. I'm sure Zach's Slutz are very happy right now.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Keep em comin, boys!Is Mike Nickeas allowed to drive in runs?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I'm going to go ahead and put this out there, and if you don't like it, you can put it out with the recycling, or leave it where it is, like an unidentified-animal-turd: Esmil Rogers is a pretty hittable pitcher.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Even Fingerbang McGoo getting in on the RBI express train.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Ugh, sloppy work there by Fingerbang and Shlutz.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 This may be a little premature, but I'm fairly certain I won't regret saying it: I don't want to see Chris Schwinden pitch, like, ever again.
