Mets face their first lefty tomorrow in Mike Minor. Who escapes from the bench? Hairston? Turner? Nickeas? Cedeo?

Mets counter with Jonathon Niese --- a good guy to go after this lefty-heavy lineup.

I'm thinking Hairston due to Nieuwenhuis' rookieness. I wouldn't be surprised to see Turner in for Murphy though.

Diaz back in LF for the lefty Niese which means Prado back to 3B.
So it's the same as their game 1 set-up except that vet glove-man Jack Wilson gets the start at SS in place of Pastonicky

No team is good enough to make dumb outs on the bases.

Can't argue about the O today. And Torres is going to seem like Wally Pipp.

Damn. Here's hit.

dont look now but the braves are back in business...

Mets need to close this game out and get the sweep, every game counts and a game you led 7-0 is one you will be looking back on in september if you lose it and the standings are close.

Mets win!

Knicks win in overtime seconds later!

Carmelo drilled a 3 with Deng in his face and then the Knicks defended well to force a bad shot from Chicago, 100-99 Knicks

Terry said that he wouldn't have let Niese go past 115 pitches even with a no-hitter. Really Terry?
