HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Little Solo and I got 61 out of 88, missing a lot of the old parks.http://www.sporcle.com/games/AdamBishop/most-home-runs-by-ballpark
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 A sickly 47. I need some coffee.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 49. blanked on that guy in chicago, and that guy in pittsburgh, among others.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 66, but in fairness it was really 64, as I got 2 extra by accident (was guessing something else and it was the right spelling for a correct answer). Some of those old stadiums are [crossout:3vqa54yp]really tough[/crossout:3vqa54yp] basically impossible. Totally struck out on Jarry Park and Griffith Stadium which I thought I would've been able to get.

The two largest #s I missed I think were County Stadium (poor spelling) and Cleveland Stadium. Took me many, many, many guesses before I got Dodger Stadium.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 34 (i think, i already forgot) crappy, but I'm not good recalling those guys from old days. Only Embarrassed by a couple.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 My 62 failed to include the in-retrospect obvious Wrigley Field and Shibe Park guys, the woulda-got-it if I'd really thought about it Sun Life Stadium guy and the "who knew?" Safeco Field guy. Also missed Washington Park, which annoyed me since I once researched the topic. One answer I rejected before typing it for one ballpark would have been the answer for another ballpark, so there went my golden chance at 63.
