The Cardinals, because they're my older son's favorite team.

But he's not even a casual baseball fan these days (although he was happy that they won last night), so I won't be crushed if the Brew Crew goes to the series.

Seeing the Yankees and Phillies go down in defeat has already made this a very enjoyable post-season. Now, I'm hoping for a northern World Series between the Tigers and Brewers.

That's good that you feel that way, as we're guaranteed to get sadsack reports from the networks and from MLB decrying the ratings dip as large market teams fall away.

I love St. Louis, and I don't mind the Cardinals, but Milwaukee is a nice place and the Brewers have never won a series, so I'd like to see them in there.

I Brewers-Rangers series would seem pretty crazy -- both teams going for their first championships.

I'm rooting for the Cards. It would take more than 100 Yadier Molinas to outbad just one Bud Selig and this thing about St. Looey having the best fans in baseball is, to me, quaint; more rube than arrogance. Not that I'd know for sure having never been to the state of Missouri. The Brewers can go back to the American League, where they effin belong. Why does one decade in the NL carry more weight than almost three in the AL? Fuck the Brewers and fuck Bud Selig.
