Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 This is a bit of history: The first time a World Series rematch occurred in an LCS.Anyway, who are you rooting for?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 The Cardinals, because they're my older son's favorite team. But he's not even a casual baseball fan these days (although he was happy that they won last night), so I won't be crushed if the Brew Crew goes to the series.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Seeing the Yankees and Phillies go down in defeat has already made this a very enjoyable post-season. Now, I'm hoping for a northern World Series between the Tigers and Brewers.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 (edited) Pulling for Milwaukee big time here.I'n into an 'Anyone but the Cards' mode Edited October 8, 2011 by Guest
dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I still can't help but hate the Cardinals... I'm rooting for Milwaukee...
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 That's good that you feel that way, as we're guaranteed to get sadsack reports from the networks and from MLB decrying the ratings dip as large market teams fall away.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Brewers, large markets, small markets, makes little difference as ratings are never great are they?
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I love St. Louis, and I don't mind the Cardinals, but Milwaukee is a nice place and the Brewers have never won a series, so I'd like to see them in there.I Brewers-Rangers series would seem pretty crazy -- both teams going for their first championships.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I'm rooting for the Cards. It would take more than 100 Yadier Molinas to outbad just one Bud Selig and this thing about St. Looey having the best fans in baseball is, to me, quaint; more rube than arrogance. Not that I'd know for sure having never been to the state of Missouri. The Brewers can go back to the American League, where they effin belong. Why does one decade in the NL carry more weight than almost three in the AL? Fuck the Brewers and fuck Bud Selig.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I can't root for Yadier Molina, that fuck.
