There's something goofy about the Rangers. I don't know, but it draws me.

The Mets gave them some of their best baseball of the year.

Gross Sun Belt climates, flyaway fan bases... I have a mild dislike of both.

I like Maddon and dislike some of the Rays a little less than their Texan counterparts, though.

Yeah, these polls should have a "I Don't Care, Just Want Good Games" button cuz I'd sooner click that box than pretend to be a fan of either of these teams.

Def have less rooting interest in this one than in any of the other three so I'd put it in the 'just wanna see a good series' category - although sometimes in the midst of a series I find myself pulling one way or the other without any particular fore-thought going into it.

I have only one AL goal anyway.

I voted Rays. Spunky AL East team. (I seem to be prone to be partial to teams that have to deal with the Evil Empire in their division.)

I have much respect for the Rays because any team that can assist in keeping the Yankees or Red Sox out of the postseason on a regular basis (that's 3 out of the last 4 years now) is a very good thing.

I suppose I'm most neutral on this series out of all 4; don't have anything specifically against the Rangers.
