Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 What shouldn't have happened is that Terry shouldn't have panic-pulled Batista in the seventh with two out and a guy on first. Enough.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I've missed every pitch of the last two games. And yet I haven't missed them.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Well, what you've missed is that Collins is trying to address his bullpen's failures by stretching them --- looking to use five or six guys to get three innings out of, rather than three (or two! or one!). All it's gotten him is a greater likelihood of the game being in the hands of that one guy who's got nothing but a serving platter that night, plus more tired pitchers the next day.
