Yeah was checking the box and wondering why he was in the game?

Hate to admit this but I have little interest in these late games, if the Mets were in a race I would but not now, I suck.

The thinking on Pelfrey is that seeing as how he only pitched four innings in his last start before going out cuz of the liner off his elbow and that his next start will be pushed back a day due to Thursday's off-day that an inning of throwing was in order. That he never got in the full inning on account of getting smacked around is a whole 'nother problem.

Terry made some reference after the game when asked about 'altered' pitching roles, something along the lines of 'your role is to get the guys out you're facing today', something neither Beato or Pelfrey did very well.
