Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Thirty minutes to first pitch and I am already prepared to sack. This new job thing is wearing me out, all of the thinking and whatnot.I saw not one pitch of last night's game, I was in bed at 9:45.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 All games should start by 7 eastern time. I'll give them until 8 for west coast games.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Odds we finish this one before the Yanqui game? Two hours in and they just finished the 4th inning in KC.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I'm ready to let Nick Evans start in left field at least against lefty pitching.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Metly gloves seem rather bipolar tonight.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 the difference between Pagan's fielding this year is..confusing. I don't get it.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Its only the fourth inning and its eleven p.m. gonna be here awhile.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 No, you don't have to see the Baxters and Pridies more.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 However, we may be seeing Ruben Tejada alot.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 The thinking on Pelfrey is that seeing as how he only pitched four innings in his last start before going out cuz of the liner off his elbow and that his next start will be pushed back a day due to Thursday's off-day that an inning of throwing was in order. That he never got in the full inning on account of getting smacked around is a whole 'nother problem.Terry made some reference after the game when asked about 'altered' pitching roles, something along the lines of 'your role is to get the guys out you're facing today', something neither Beato or Pelfrey did very well.
