bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Harris rewarded with a start after watching strike 3 last night. Pagan looked dehydrated so why not give Pridie a start?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Holy Shit Murphy!A dumb NYM base-running play is now officially called 'pulling a Muffy'Three seasons ago it was 'a Pagan' but now it's got a new name.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Niese is who I trust. Is there a name for a sacirfice bunt popout?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 GAH! pagan just missing a three-run jack.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Ooooh... Balky balking balker. Second and third with one out.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Man, Pagan goes down looking at Bay fans swinging.Good matchup with these two guys, I'll give 'em that.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 We've had way, way, way too many baserunners the last two days to not have scored any runs.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 No wonder teams are asking about Hairston , PH home run, third of season(wow ), sixth of career ....Rubin.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Another solo bomb for Hairston, tying the game at 2-2 in the 9th!
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 Wow. Big game for Scott so far. Too bad nobody else on our team is interested in getting a big hit.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 ....AND we're gonna flush this one with a crappy outing by Parnell here.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 Nice play (not quite Keith-esque) gets the lead runner at first but they've still got the winning run on second base.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Let's relax. He's in a bad stretch and still has work to do but you also don't rebuild by dealing away 26 y/o relievers who throw 100mph.The problem here is that the only runs they've generated over the last 21 innings have been 2 Scott Hairston HRs.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Yes, wasn't that long ago(around time I left for vacation) that Bobby looked unhittable ....Terry says Murphy not at fault."@AdamRubinESPN: Terry Collins says Murphy was NOT at fault on 9-3-4 double play with bases loaded. Niese supposed to tag. Murph supposed to draw throw."
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Yeah but he never looked at what was happening.I would have sent Niese too, but if Murph checks at what's going on in front of him he can hit the brakes a step or two earlier and get back.He never did.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I was thinking wild card run before these two losses..
