Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 It's odd how little solid contact the Mets seem to be making; when McClellan's throwing strikes, he's throwing STRIKES.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Beltran tries to take out Keith with a bomb into the porch. tied at 4.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Beltran Trade Value +++++++++++
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Gary is lurving this.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 SNY will not deign to show you the dick who decided to run on the field.Of course, we'll be glad to provide hilarious narration. ("Oh, they're getting tired. They're gonna need more guys.")\Dickey, meanwhile, proves far more in-control of onfield doings than CitiField security with a 1-2-3 6th.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Maybe it's just me, but I'd trust Dickey to work his way out of this without a run scoring over Byrdak, handedness be damned.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Terry channeling his inner Willie with the pitching changes.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Beato to Pujols: "Siddown, bitch. I mean, bitch SIR."Three nasty pitches.OE: GameDay average "Nasty Factor" for the Pujols AB-- 75.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I want this game to go like seventeen innings, because Keith, in and among the people, will be HILARIOUS by midnight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Cards bring in Lancelot Lynn to do the pitching. Not surprisingly he's kind of hairy.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Jason Pridie: Not dead!
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I am praying to gods I don't believe in that this IBB blows up in Sousy McGee's face.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Terry sees LaRussa's intentional walk, and raises him. (We're scared of a slumping Colby Rasmus now?)
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Shit! These guys have one friggin hit this inning and they're on the verge of breaking the game open.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 We need some Dudaish patience out of Pagan and Harris here.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 btw, Keith and Gary have made several references to drag bunts during the last few games as if there's some kind of inside joke between them. What they're doing (I'm sure) is tweaking Phil Mushnick who has been mocking them (mostly Keith) in his NYPost column recently for calling all bunts drag bunts even those that go down the 3B line in what have traditionally been considered push bunts. I think they're purposely overdoing it just to annoy Mushnick.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Pagan with the leadoff infield single. It's rally time bitches!
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Lynn has "overthrow" written all over him right now. Make him throw strikes.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I like Doodoo doing something this inning.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Bunting ball three badly: Bad Idea jeans.
