It's odd how little solid contact the Mets seem to be making; when McClellan's throwing strikes, he's throwing STRIKES.

SNY will not deign to show you the dick who decided to run on the field.

Of course, we'll be glad to provide hilarious narration. ("Oh, they're getting tired. They're gonna need more guys.")\

Dickey, meanwhile, proves far more in-control of onfield doings than CitiField security with a 1-2-3 6th.

oh, if it was up to Keith you'd have the cameras on the guy all the way into the cell.

He pretty much told Turner to deck the guy.

Keith is a little detached from the concerns of mortals.

Meanwhile, Bay did wha?

Maybe it's just me, but I'd trust Dickey to work his way out of this without a run scoring over Byrdak, handedness be damned.

Beato to Pujols: "Siddown, bitch. I mean, bitch SIR."

Three nasty pitches.

OE: GameDay average "Nasty Factor" for the Pujols AB-- 75.

I am praying to gods I don't believe in that this IBB blows up in Sousy McGee's face.

Terry sees LaRussa's intentional walk, and raises him. (We're scared of a slumping Colby Rasmus now?)

We need some Dudaish patience out of Pagan and Harris here.

btw, Keith and Gary have made several references to drag bunts during the last few games as if there's some kind of inside joke between them.
What they're doing (I'm sure) is tweaking Phil Mushnick who has been mocking them (mostly Keith) in his NYPost column recently for calling all bunts drag bunts even those that go down the 3B line in what have traditionally been considered push bunts. I think they're purposely overdoing it just to annoy Mushnick.

Lynn has "overthrow" written all over him right now. Make him throw strikes.

I hadn't realized that but thought there was something odd in the way Keith said "That's a great drag bunt, eh Gar?"

Yeah, Gary didn't respond tonight because he was busy with something else, but last night (or the one before) he made some kind of answer which indicated that he's in on the joke.
