A handful of All Star pitchers carrying them there.

I was kinda thinking Willie Harris tonight.

Seriously , how is that lineup ten games over .500?

As Edgy pointed out, it's all about the pitching in San Francisco. The Giants are next to last in runs scored in the NL. Their pitching however, has been very good. Not Philadelphia Phillies good, but very good.

Ruin reports that for a fourth straight day Hairston is working at first base.

Gotta love that Adam Ruin. Good Jewpunk name.

I would have loved to have Hairston get some first base work in a few weeks back. Now, I'm all about Evans vs the lefties.

Do you like Evans over Duda against lefties?

I like Shakira over Duda against lefties.

Cool job working a 10-pitch walk by Beltran.

Nobody's forcing you to watch.

(I presume. If I'm wrong, blink twice.)

Do it again, Scott.

Substitute beard to face him.

The sacking up of a team without their best players is the story of this season. It's amazin'. (Just not tonight.)

Ashie was begging for the selloff last year too.

That's what I'm saying... this is NOT a season for moping. It's a holy-crap-THESE-guys-can-do-THIS? celebration.

(Do try to keep in mind: this is a 4-2 West Coast trip WITH tonight's loss. Without Wright, Reyes, Davis, or Santana.)

OH NO YOU DI INT

The appropriate response to this jibe would be "Your mom!"

Yeah, I'm missing something about the complaint of "having" to watch AAA players and then wanting a sell-off in the same breath.
You do realize that selling off players usually imports less than AAA players, right?
If only we could arrange things so as to add something along the likes of Reyes, Wright, Davis, and Santana in the next few weeks ... oh wait!!

The biggest problem last night - aside from trying to score more than once off Lincecum - was that the Giants hit five infield grounders/bouncers in GiDP situations and the Mets, while committing no official errors, turned those potential ten outs into a total of four.

If the Mets are going to be treading come late July they might as well get what they can for Beltran & Rodriguez and Pelfrey, maybe even Paulino.

About the two baseball teams that left New York and moved west.
I want to beat Los Angeles, but I hate to lose to San Francisco.

If you're actually denying it, I'd be happy to look. But come on.
