Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Not much to add here. Great game, particularly from Capuano and the parade of 2-out hits. Pirates fans are loyal and mostly supportive of their team but understandably have little patience. They turned on Correia awful fast after he turned in a great start.I was struck by how much of an effort the Pirates' staff at PNC Park put into making people feel like valued customers and welcome guests. I'm sure some of it comes from the natural need to do so following twenty losing seasons but it means something. Not to pile on the Mets, but given the tough job market, it baffles the mind that they can't find better employees for Citi Field.Nifty feature at PNC that I haven't seen elsewhere: in addition to pitch speed and count, they put the pitch fX data on the ribbon board between the seating levels.
