Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 'Mazin.According to Bill James' calculations, Reyes has a 16% chance at 3,000 hits.Wright has a 23% chance.I may need to some re-calculating based on the partial season, however.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 Mets media notes today said Wright passed Cleon for second place last night. Howie read it as if it were fact. Later turned on the TV and heard Gary said he "misspoke" when he read the same thing and corrected the order to Kranepool, Reyes, Wright (though Keith immediately sold out the PR department for having it wrong in the first place).Obviously not enough Metsian big shots tracking Jose vs. David vs. the Krane.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Why don't they make it easy on themselves and just read the CPF more often?

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Looks like about one year from now that Jose will be passing Kranepool.

It's up to the color guy to analyze it. (good job Keith, bad job Wayne?)

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Kranepool needs to make an adjustment or two. He's been stuck on that number a while now, hasn't he?
