Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 If I recall correctly, Dish Network is still in a dispute with MLB regarding the "Extra Innings" package as well.I'm sure there's no one guilty party here and everybody just wants to make as much money as possible but I can't see how this helps Dish Network. If I was a subscriber and they stopped showing the games, I'd drop them faster than third period French.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Seriously, the only reason I subscribe to any television provider is for live sports. That's it.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 And while Dad doesn't do most of the viewing, I'd bet research will show that Dad does a disproportionate share of the provider choosing.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 I've never seen The Wheelhouse before. Who is this Brandon guy, and why does he keep yelling at me?HEY! BALDIE! STOP YELLING AT ME!

Tierney used to be the midday radio guy, with Jody Macdonald, and was canned. People do seem to like them though, but he seems pretty blah to me and mostly conservative in his thinking of sports. (not that most of those guys aren't) Bow to the intangibles and all that. I got into a fight with him on TWitter briefly in May.
