Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Not exactly. I like my staff, with its surplus of sinewy arms. But if you've got power priced to move-- especially outfield-located power-- I'm listening.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Ah, yes.I'm the tastefully-named Knuckle Children.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 i'll put my top three of lee, jiminez, nolasco up against any other in the league. my relief is weak sauce, though, and my philliephul roster will be my undoing. and, hopefully, theirs.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Garza and Zimmermann are my 4-5. I win.Saves can kiss my big, black behind*.*Figuratively. My behind is quite pale.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 better than bud norris / jason marquis? no!i'm probably wasting my roster spot with an injured stevey strasburg, aren't i? stoopit autodraft!
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Starting pitching is unreliable and overly influenced by injury, and you generally can find it at the bottom of the draft (even a 13-team NL league like ours). But guys who play and hit every day? gold, baby. gold. And punting a category? that's not for me.
