Doy indeed. #30 is Doug Linton; the two guys I never would have pegged in Mets uniforms are pitcher Bob Kipper and catcher Joe Kmak.

PITCHERS
#26 (NRI) BOB KIPPER: Lefty, pitched with Pirates from 1985-91. Threw 12 innings for Norfolk in 1994 and retired. #8 overall draft pick by the Red Sox; has been a pitching coach for a number of teams since retirement.
#30 (NRI) DOUG LINTON: Lefty; went 6-2, 4.47 in 1994 with Mets. Returned to Mets in 2001, but never made club; purchased by Korean team in July. Pitched with Toronto and California pre-Mets, then the Royals and O's post-Mets. Out of MLB after 1999, then made seven appearances for Toronto in 2003.
#43 (NRI) MIKE REMLINGER: Lefty; Notably carved up batters for the Braves from 1999-2002. Made 2002 ASG.

CATCHERS
#66 (NRI) ALBERTO CASTILLO: Signed by Mets out of the DR in 1987; played parts of four seasons in the mid-90s for the Mets, and continued playing through 2009, getting 112 ABs in the Atlantic League.
#0 BROOK FORDYCE: 1-2 with a double in his Met career; bounced around the league after that, playing with Reds, White Sox, O's, and Rays.
#21 JOE KMAK: Played in majors in '93 with Milwaukee and '95 with Cubs; spent '94 in Norfolk. Has a short, distinctive name.
#10 GREG OLSON: Drafted by the Mets, but best known as a Brave from 1990-1993. Didn't even make it out of ST with the organization.

INFIELDERS
#40 (NRI) GLENN DAVIS: Best known for his years as a slugging first baseman with the Astros; played 1994 in the Royals system.
#64 (NRI) JEFF MANTO: He played with eight major league teams, but not the Mets; killed IL pitching in Buffalo and Rochester in the mid-90s. 1st baseman by trade. Best known as an Indian, methinks.
#18 JEFF McKNIGHT: Jack-of-all-trades who's probably best known by this uniform number, but he certainly had a lot of uniform numbers.
#3 LUIS RIVERA: Regular SS for the Red Sox from 1990-1992; got 43 ABs as a Met in 1994.
#62 QUILVIO VERAS: Spent seven largely productive, albeit average, seasons as a major league second baseman from 1995-2001 with Florida, San Diego, and Atlanta.
#60 (NRI) FERNANDO VINA: Got 124 ABs as a Met in 1994, but somehow lead the NL in HBPs with 12. Gets conflated with Quilvio Veras a lot, but looks like my friend Dave Fishman.
#15 ALAN ZINTER: The consummate AAAA player; killed AA pitching in 1993-94 with Binghamton, then went to Detroit for 1994 season, where he killed AAA pitching in Toledo. Finally broke through at 34 in 2002 with Houston, but got only six hits in 44 AB.

OUTFIELDERS
#11 (NRI) DOUG DASCENZO: Best known as a Cub pinch-hitter/defensive sub from 1988-1992. Spent 1994 in Norfolk. Pitched one inning in 19-8 loss to Mets on June 12, 1990.
#1 (NRI) PAT HOWELL: Got 79 PA with the Mets in 1992, but never made it to the majors again. Victim of the baseball adage that "you can't steal first base." Stole 79 bases with Columbia in 1990, 64 with two teams in 1991.

This was from a spring training program. Check out some of those uni numbers on the Yankees side: NRIs Jeter (in 70) and Posada (in 76), and Mariano Rivera slumming in 58 while Sam Horn holds 42 for him.
