bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 In the midst of this lousy season and the nonsense, past, present and future, winning this Phillies would be great.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 In the name of Cliff Floyd and all that is holy, this is the game where we get our grand slam -- off fucking Oswalt, just as Cliffie did in on a glorious Friday night in the otherwise godforsaken spring of 2004.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 On the Phils anyone shorter than Ryan Howard is a short shit.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 We have had way too many games like this one in 2010.The Mets up to now are playing like zombies. Going through the motions.COME ON YOU SHORTYSHITHEADS!WAKE UP! LOAD THOSE BASES!I WANNA BE A G-HEAD!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Of course Oswalt gets a complete game vs us.Gah.
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Can't remember the last time I attended a Mets game that I paid so little attention -- a combination of the piss-poor Mets and the great company. The cockpunch factor was sitting 10 rows back undercover on the LF landing and still getting wetting. A fitting end to my 2010 Mets season which finished 3-4.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I was just going to post the same thing about paying attention. You could ask me ten questions about the game and I'd get all tenwrong. I had fun visiting with everyone, looking forward to seeing thepicture with everyone in yellow sunglasses!KB loves the Bulldogs hat and sends many thanks!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Duda, ready to push the .020's.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Agreed about the game and the company. At least they gave out the sunglasses after all, so we didn't have to see the lackluster play on the field....
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Neat! But why do we all appear to be wearing noseguards as well?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Here are what the sunglasses look like up close -I bet you're all jealous that you don't have these!
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 i know i'm jealous that i don't have one.all you people that don't have these beauties - i'm so jealous of you.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Stewie Rah Rah? Who's that supposed to be?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 The #1 King of All Fun is my first thought. Just a crazy guess.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 "if there are Mets fans who don't know who Stewart Rahr is, they will soon enough. The Brooklyn-born billionaire -- a k a Stewie Rah Rah -- is donating $1,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation every time a Met hits a home run at CitiField, and $5,000 every time David Wright does, as he did on Opening Day. Later in the season will be "Home Rah Rah Day" with giveaways of Rahr's trademark yellow sunglasses."apparently, he's filthy rich, owns kinray, a privately owned pharma company, and also bought a $45M estate in the hamptons. he's well known for wearing bright yellow ray ban wayfarers. these are no ray bans.
