The Mets are just a better team with Castillo out there, but whatever. The season is over right?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Now throw in a 'non tag' on a ball where they had McCutcheon out by a few yards. Not often that happens.Let's face it, between the lack of hitting, a bunch of plays not made, at least two errors that prevented GiDPs, and a Gi[u:3fgnw0fx]T[/u:3fgnw0fx]P that he hit into, if Castillo were doing even half the stuff Tejada is Met fans would be skewering him for it.

Tejada is just not ready, and his use, much like Mejia is annoying because they're guys I want to like but being put in a position where you almost want to root against them so the right move is made.Of course, the season's basically over at this point too, and it matters less.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 At this point it probably won't matter ...- but the phucking Phils won their game tonight 1-0 while getting out-hit by the Nats 10-4Halladay for 8 + Lidge for 1- and this afternoon the Braves won 5-3 in a game at Wrigley where they got out-hit 10-5Cubs took a 3-2 lead into the 9th. Marmol came on and promptly walked the bases loaded. Then, with 1 out he K'd Melky Cabrera. He then went 0-2 on Ankiel before serving up a bases-clearing triple. At least the Yanx - and AJ Burnett - got their asses kicked.
