That's the percentage of CitField vendors with "critical violations."

At least we're not Detroit!

The city's website, NYC.gov, lists restaurant inspection results citywide.

I can see the Citi Field violations, but unfortunately, it doesn't specify which vendor is which. There are just a bunch simply labeled "CONCESSIONS" with no distinctions between them. (Other than the number and nature of their violations, that is.)

Same with MFY Stadium III. Which, BTW, is at 48% critical violations! WHOOT!

Also... I can't say I'm shocked about Illinois' results. I'm sure the concessionaires are very kind to the inspectors.

Soldier Field
Chicago Bears
Vendors with critical violations: 12%

Inspection report excerpt: Almost all violations were due to a lack of hot water.

United Center
Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks
Vendors with critical violations: 0%

Inspection report excerpt: No critical or major violations. Chicago health inspectors inspect vendors while the stadiums are empty, when no workers are preparing or serving food.

U.S. Cellular Field
Chicago White Sox
Vendors with critical violations: 0%

Inspection report excerpt: No critical or major violations. Chicago health inspectors inspect vendors while the stadiums are empty, when no workers are preparing or serving food.

Wrigley Field
Chicago Cubs
Vendors with critical violations: 0%

a 100% failure rate at Tropicana Field (and really, look at those numbers throughout Florida) and "mouse excreta" at MSG make me feel pretty good about the garlic fries I get at AT&T Park.

The NYC results are not always very telling.

You can get violation points for "Choking first aid' poster not posted" just as easily as you can for "rats present." I paged through and there were a lot of what I would consider minor violations (ie. choking poster not visible) that add up. I'm not clear on what exactly defines a "critical" violation.

Madison Square Garden
New York Knicks, New York Rangers
Vendors with critical violations: 61%

Inspection report excerpt: At one stand, inspectors found "53 mouse excreta" (38 on top of a metal box underneath the cash registers in the front food-prep/service area and 15 on top of a carbonated-beverage dispensing unit).

What'd you do at work today? Oh me, I counted mouse poop.

I figured this would be a greater problem in Orlando.

Gee I hope the violations aren't from Shake Shack.

The Nassau Colliseum got a 100% OK rate - not one violation.
This will be the most difficult to appreciate because there are no fans there to eat the food.

I hope they're not from Trlicek's House of Trichinosis.

Although that would not be altogether unexpected.
