DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Out of NY Mets fans: if you have MLB Network, you get the SNY feed of this game.Awesome! Did not know that-- thanks much for the info!

Reyes has too much speed to worry about a DP. And if his hitting is so comprised because of his injury, so as to justify the sac bunt, then Reyes shouldn't be playing ... or at least shouldn't be batting second. What's the point of playing Reyes if injuries have, for now, reduced him to Miguel Cairo?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I have to agree.Reyes should be up on the shelf.(ooo, but he wants to play, waaaaa. Yea, and I wanna get laid tonight. What are we gonna do?)I think Keith just hit on what this team REALLY needs!A reliefer!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Has he been crying?I disagree. I don't think he should be on a shelf. I just think he shouldn't be bunting. At all. Now, Jerry's playing for the 2-1 game on defense.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 How about Francoeur coming up to "I just wanna use your love tonight" song?

If he's too injured to do two of those things, I don't think he should play.He is a WAY to important cog in our engine. If he ends up injured for any long length of time, we are in serious trouble.I really wish he wasn't goin to the AS game and could rest that quad for three days.Just my opinion tho bro.I respect yours. I hear ya.The bunting. Gah.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Who reported his crying? Can the Braves, by the way, be allowed to win in these uniforms?Glaus up with two on and two out is not goodness.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Who reported his crying?[/quote:3d21wosm]I believe I did, right up there ^.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 This bunting... will give me... a stroke tonight.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Every time I pay attention, they're bunting. Need to stop paying attention ...
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Turning point is the bunt sign. Too painful.

Because while you're scoring one run, they're scoring four. When the fuck does he play for the big inning? When Thole and Tejada are due up?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I blame all you guys for this recent turn of events.I see a LETS hanging alone last page with no followup. This here is just bad karma.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Davis with back to back green lookin' blunders in the field ...
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 This defecit isn't on Dickey. Manuel puts these guys in impossible situations.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Don't get the pic, Edge ... and I'm in no hurry for Beltran.

It's like having Billie Don't be a Hero stuck in my brain on an endless loop. Jerry has Reyes sac bunt with Wright, the hottest hitter in all of baseball, Ike Davis, who can't go a week and a half without hitting a 450 foot homer and Jason Bay, the All Star $60M dollar investment all due up next. What's the point of having that middle?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Plenty of time to bemon the fukups afterward. Right now we need Jason Bay to do something very positive.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I'm with you, BML.I'm going to see if a scotch or two can't help with that.(Also, with wiping away them ugly Bay ABs from my memory.)
