We shud have taken 2 this series.
One beats a sweep though.

I hope I don't have to point back to these ridiculously stamina sucking energy eating games in a land where they can't even fill the small stands in their less than minor league caliber stadium when the big show is in town and say that's where things started to roll downhill.

Yea, over the top.
And a badly worded run on sentence to boot.

What an ugly mofongo-ing win.

Please, Gary and Keith, tell me again about how late the team (and you) will be getting in to Washington, as you board your chartered flight, then your charter bus, and then arrive at your four-star hotel, while not having to worry about luggage or reservations or anything other than picking up your key and then going to bed, and then getting to sleep all day because you don't start work again until late that afternoon.[/quote:fzohyi6q]

Bullet of True. (Though Keith is off for the Nats series.)

I was referring to Zvon's sentence in the post above yours.

One thing I enjoyed --- as a TV viewer anyhow --- was the bygone-era rollicklingly large amount of foul territory, making drama out of the pursuit of foul balls. Foul territory has shrunk in recent decades to the point where almost every foul pop in play is caught, and almost every foul pop is out of play. Not so in San Juan.

The down side was the brown turf warning track, rather than dirt, so the pursing players couldn't go into a slide.
