soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 From Today's NYTimes: The big talker among novelties, though, is a toaster that burns team logos into slices of bread. The ProToast toaster, which retails for $34.99, is being sold at home goods shops, online and at Yankee Stadium, Citi Field and other parks. Pangea Brands, the licensee, also has contracts with the N.F.L., the N.B.A. and the N.H.L. Its utilitarian, but also whimsical, said Josh Fink, the chief executive of the company, which is also creating a sandwich press and a cake mold that imprints team logos. Hats and T-shirts are saturated. We wanted to carve out our own area. Thank you toaster for getting me here...I'll butter you up good have no fear...Magic Toast!
