Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Yep-- with the Angels, after three years of second-place finishes, in the middle of an injury-filled backslide of a year. (Apparently, the Caminiti/Berkman/Bagwell Astros chafed under his stewardship, too... to the point where Larry Dierker was brought in straight out of the TV/radio booth to manage.)He's gotten some decent pub this year for his work in the minors, and has won more than a few accolades in the PCL in the past. I wonder if his style simply fits minor-leaguers better?
