bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 The Mets return to FOX's GOW this Saturday. If you're wondering whether you will get the game in your area, click on the link and then on the map. (This is from the506.com, the same place that does the NFL distribution maps.)http://www.the506.com/sports/MLB10/may-01.htmlSomeone in their forum broke it down by percentages:NYM-Phi 69.9Hou-Atl 19.5Tex-Sea 10.6
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I very rarely get the Mets on FOX on Saturdays. Typically the Cubs, Brewers, White Sox, Cardinals or Twins are playing which means I get that game.I get the Mets/Phils for my birthday. I'm having a party, which means the sound will be down...but that's OK as Buck and McCarver make me sick.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Wait... did everybody get invited but me?! Again?!
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 If you are willing to be in my town, you are most certainly invited. I would even turn the sound for the game on if you'd like. I'm absolutely sure no one else there will care about the Mets' game.Come to think of it...anyone on this board who is in Madison, WI for the weekend is invited to my place on Saturday for brats, burgers and beer. PM me for directions.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 It looks like it's the Braves/Astros game for me. It's not like I don't get over half the Braves games already on TBS, now they have to squeeze them in on the network broadcasts. I should move, that would show them.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Time Warner is nice enough to pipe the WPIX feed in on weekend games that aren't on the national radar. But they're letterboxed and not in HD.When they are on Fox or ESPN, as they are again this weekend, the picture looks sharp but the commentary is dull.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 Bad news--Buck's doing the game on Saturday:NYM-PHI: Joe Buck, Tim McCarver, Ken RosenthalTEX-SEA: Josh Lewin, Eric Karros, Chris RoseHOU-ATL: Kenny Albert, Mark Grace
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Not even Joe Buck can sour my pro-Mets mood tomorrow.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 No one can sour the Mets these days!I'm thinking about going out on the town in the afternoon, etc, find an excuse to be in the car at 3:30 so I can listen to some or most of the game on the radio with Howie and Wayne instead
